Councilwoman Janise Izabal has stressed the need to ensure the safety of Ensenada’s residents and bolster its reputation as a secure tourist destination. This statement came after the leasing of 60 patrol vehicles for the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM), at a cost of 75 million pesos.

Izabal highlighted that acquiring new patrol cars is a vital step towards achieving these security objectives. The lease agreement is seen as essential for enhancing the operational capabilities of the DSPM, allowing for quicker and more effective responses to emergencies. This move is expected to reinforce Ensenada’s image as the safest destination for both residents and tourists.

“I am convinced that these patrols will improve the DSPM’s performance, ensuring more agile responses to citizens’ needs and maintaining Ensenada’s status as a top tourist destination proud to be recognized by both locals and visitors,” Izabal stated.

The councilwoman, affiliated with the Fuerza por México party, endorsed the initiative led by Mayor Claudia Agatón, emphasizing its importance in strengthening public security and dignifying police work.
