**Stolen Vehicle Found During Raids in Ensenada**

In Ensenada, coordinated police raids on several scrapyards led to the discovery of a stolen vehicle, as confirmed by María Elena Andrade Ramírez, head of the State Attorney General’s Office. The operations targeted three businesses: “El Mostro” in the Popular 89 neighborhood, “El Pirulas” in Vista al Sol, and the “Las Perritas” recycling center in Maneadero. These efforts aim to deter crime and locate vehicles reported as stolen, explained Gracielo Cebreros Millán, Ensenada’s Regional Prosecutor.

The raids were based on thorough analysis and investigations conducted by the Vehicle Theft Investigation Unit. During one of these raids, a 2002 Honda Accord, reported stolen on July 31, 2023, was recovered. The teams involved are composed of state investigative agents specializing in identifying vehicles with altered identification to conceal their origin.

Cebreros Millán emphasized that such actions have increased as part of the office’s commitment to tackling vehicle theft crimes.

**Increase in Stolen Vehicle Recoveries in Baja California**

Recent operations in Baja California have resulted in a significant uptick in the recovery of stolen vehicles, as authorities intensify their efforts against organized crime linked to vehicle theft. Using advanced tracking technology and data analysis, law enforcement agencies have been able to pinpoint the locations of several stolen cars across the region.

In one instance, a coordinated operation led to busting a theft ring responsible for altering vehicle identification numbers. This crackdown has been part of a broader strategy to not only recover stolen vehicles but also dismantle networks profiting from such crimes.

Residents are being urged to report any suspicious activities and ensure their vehicles are secure, as police continue to work diligently to create safer neighborhoods through such proactive measures.
