Along with him, another man named Iván Onofre, alias “El Tocino” from Badiraguato, was also killed.
Authorities reported that the two men were returning from a relative’s funeral when they were ambushed. Their bodies, showing signs of bullet wounds, were found abandoned inside the luxury vehicle along the International Mexico 15 highway near La Campana.
