**Santiago “El Peque” Returns to the Ring at “Fight Night 46″**
After several months away from the ring, Alexandro Santiago is set to make his comeback on November 30th, headlining the “Fight Night 46” event organized by Fábrica de Campeones, Guerreros Promotions, Marrons Promotions, and Promociones Mayen. The event will take place at the Grand Hotel Arena.
In the main event, the former WBC world champion, who boasts a record of 28 wins, 4 losses, and 5 draws with 14 knockouts, will face off against José Miguel Calderón, whose record stands at 11-2-0.
“I’m very happy and motivated to make my return in Tijuana with my family and friends. Although I’m not returning as a world champion, this is a fresh start. With God’s will, I’ll be fighting for a title again next year,” declared Santiago, the local boxing athlete.
For this bout, Santiago should be able to handle his opponent without much difficulty, although he emphasizes that he respects every adversary: “There are no small rivals. We’ve trained hard for this return, aiming to deliver a great fight and regain that championship,” Santiago affirmed.
The boxer expressed pride in training at the Quirarte family gym, under the guidance of Don Rómulo and his sons, Bobby and Roberto. “I’ve been here almost 15 years now, and I hope to retire here. I always feel at home and am very grateful to them,” Santiago concluded.
The event will feature a total of 13 fights, with the first bell scheduled for 7 PM. Tickets start at 400 pesos for general admission.
