**El Bebé Fishing Tournament Set to Make Waves in Rosarito on March 30th**

Rosarito, known for its vibrant coastal events, is set to host the much-anticipated “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament, marking the first round of Baja California’s prestigious state fishing competition. Scheduled for Sunday, March 30th, at Playa El Bebé, organizers predict a significant turnout of eager anglers.

This tournament is a staple on the official calendar of the State’s Commission for Fish and Aquaculture, supported by the administration of Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda. The event is spearheaded by the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association, with the TJ Fishing Club taking charge, represented by Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno.

Participants will be vying for qualification in the State Championship across three selective beach fishing tournaments. Registration opens at 5:00 AM, followed by the official start of the fishing competition at 7:00 AM. The weigh-in wraps up at 1:00 PM, and anglers in line by that time will still be able to submit their catches.

Prizes await winners across various categories, including children’s and women’s divisions, mojarra, and other species. Attendees can also look forward to raffles and delicious seafood meals sourced from local catches.

Following this inaugural event, two more rounds of the state competition will occur on April 27th at Sunset Beach in Ensenada, hosted by Club Pura Vida, and on July 20th at Playa El Pabellón in San Quintín, organized by Pioleros del Valle de San Quintín. Top competitors will earn a spot to represent Baja California in the VI National Beach Sport Fishing Championship, set for September 19-20 at Playa Manzanilla, Jalisco.
