### Exciting Times Ahead – Join the “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament in Rosarito on March 30th

Mark your calendars for an exciting day of fishing in Rosarito as Playa El Bebé prepares to host the Baja California state fishing tournament on Sunday, March 30th. The event promises to attract a large number of fishing enthusiasts, following last year’s turnout of nearly 150 participants from Baja California and Southern California.

The tournament is organized under the aegis of the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association and supported by the state government, with involvement from TJ Fishing Club representatives Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno. This event is notable as the initial round of three selective beach fishing tournaments, setting the stage for the State Championship.

Early risers will need to arrive at 5:00 AM for registration, with fishing officially starting at 7:00 AM. Participants must ensure they are in line for the weigh-in by 1:00 PM to be eligible for prizes. Categories include children’s, women’s, and mojarra, among others, with additional raffles and delicious local seafood on offer.

Interested parties can register on the day of the event, or pre-register at Pesca del Mar Outdoors in Ensenada or the Fishing Crew Store in La Gloria. For further details, you can reach out via phone at 664 493 6014 or 664 339 9173, or email tjfishingclub@gmail.com.

The event is backed by financial support from Victor Hugo Méndez of SEPESCA BC, ensuring a well-organized day for all participants. The top competitors from this and subsequent rounds on April 27th in Ensenada, and July 20th in San Quintín, will qualify for the VI National Beach Sport Fishing Championship in Jalisco this September.
