**Gear Up for the Exciting “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament in Rosarito on March 30th**
Anglers, prepare your gear! Rosarito’s “Playa El Bebé” is set to host the first round of the Baja California state fishing competition this Sunday, March 30th. Organizers are expecting a strong turnout after last year’s successful event, which attracted nearly 150 participants from across the state and Southern California.
This tournament is part of the official schedule coordinated by SEPESCA BC and is backed by the administration of Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda. The event is organized by the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association and hosted by TJ Fishing Club, with representatives Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno leading the way.
The event marks the first of three selective beach fishing tournaments that serve as qualifiers for the State Championship. Registration for the anglers will begin at 5:00 AM, with the official start of the competition at 7:00 AM. The weigh-in is scheduled to close at 1:00 PM and will accommodate all participants in line by that time.
Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes in various categories, including children’s, women’s, mojarra, and other species. In addition, there will be raffles and delicious local fish dishes to enjoy.
