It’s organized in collaboration with the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association, and this year’s tournament is hosted by TJ Fishing Club, led by Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno.

Serving as the first of three selective beach fishing tournaments, this event will determine participants’ eligibility for the State Championship. The day kicks off bright and early at 5:00 AM with registration, while fishing officially begins at 7:00 AM. Participants will have until 1:00 PM to weigh in their catches.

The tournament will award prizes across several categories, such as children’s, women’s, mojarra, and various other fish species. Additionally, there will be raffles and local fish delicacies for everyone to enjoy.
