## New Municipal Palace Dome to Have a 6-Month Insurance Policy

The new dome of the Municipal Palace in Tijuana will be covered by a six-month insurance policy, as confirmed by the city’s chief administrative officer, Marcelo de Jesús Machain Servín. He further mentioned that apart from the insurance, the construction company has also provided a bond, which will be returned after the first six months of usage of the infrastructure.

The maintenance of the new dome will be attended to in coordination with the incoming administration. Machain Servín stated, “It will be discussed with the incoming government to establish a maintenance plan, but that will be handled by the new administration.”

This Saturday, pressure water tests will be conducted on the new dome to check for any leaks. “The architect and construction team will conduct these tests by spraying water at high pressure from various angles to ensure there are no leaks,” Machain Servín explained.

Before the official inauguration of the new dome, a protective mesh against pigeons also needs to be installed.
