### Commissions in the Chamber of Deputies Have Not Been Established: Vásquez Hernández

The commissions within the Chamber of Deputies have yet to be formed, preventing the assessment of recently approved reforms or the drafting of new laws, according to statements made by Eva María Vásquez Hernández, a federal deputy for the National Action Party (PAN).

“No commissions have been established, and no work has been done in that regard. It seems the ruling party has struggled to control its own members, which has hindered the establishment of commissions. We hope this will be resolved soon,” she emphasized.

Vásquez Hernández noted that without established commissions in the Lower House, it is impossible to dictate new modifications or laws.

### Local Judicial Reform Expected in the Next Six Months

The congresswoman added that the constitutional reforms recently passed to alter the operation of the Federal Judiciary could still be modified, as various legal resources have been presented for re-evaluation.

“Not everything is set in stone, as there was no room for dialogue and the process was marked by significant errors and irregularities, rendering this initiative null,” Vásquez Hernández explained.

She highlighted that the potential annulment of the reform process is due to these procedural issues. “We are hoping for a favorable resolution of the appeals that will allow us to return to the dictation, analysis, consensus, and to formulate an integral proposal with a renewed vision,” she elaborated.

The timeframe for the judiciary bodies to respond to these legal appeals should ideally be before the start of the popular vote for judges and magistrates, and before the state judicial powers are altered.

### Secondary Article: Constitutional Reform Sparks Debate Amidst Procedural Issues

Recent reports indicate increasing debates surrounding the constitutional reforms aimed at the Federal Judiciary in Mexico. Various legal experts and political analysts have pointed out procedural flaws in the way the reforms were discussed and approved.

Several legal challenges have been filed arguing that the reforms were passed without sufficient transparency and debate, which may result in their nullification.
