### IMDET Volleyball Delegation Tournament to Kick Off
This week, the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDET) will launch the Delegation Volleyball Tournament, set to take place across the city’s nine districts.
#### Tournament Structure and Age Categories
The competition features three age categories: Sub 12 for children aged 12 and under, Intermediate for ages 13 to 15, and Open for participants 16 and above. Both male and female teams are encouraged to participate.
#### Participation Requirements
Teams must consist of a minimum of six players and a maximum of ten, all sporting appropriate athletic gear. Participants need to provide documents proving their age and must reside in the district they represent.
#### Tournament Phases
The tournament is structured in three phases: sub-delegation, delegation, and the grand municipal final. Winners from each category at the sub-delegation level will advance to the delegation phase. Victors at this level will secure a place in the grand municipal final, scheduled for September 28 at the Tijuana Sports Unit.
#### Prizes
In the Grand Municipal Final, the top three teams in each category and gender will receive trophies. Champions will also be awarded a commemorative event t-shirt.
