### Cimarrones Kick Off Season in ONEFA

This Friday, September 6, 2024, the Cimarrones from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) will return to the gridiron to start the 2024 season of the National Student Organization of American Football (ONEFA).

The 2024 calendar includes seven games, with Cimarrones hosting four home games and playing three on the road. Their matchups include games against the Indios from UACJ, University Incarnate Word, CETYS Mexicali, ITSON’s Potros, Correcaminos from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, and Panteras from Siglo XXI.

Notably, the home games will have a philanthropic angle, as pet food for dogs and cats will be collected and donated to a civil association at the end of the tournament.

The team this season comprises 57 players led by the head coach Ricardo Licona Ojeda, a stalwart in the franchise. Supporting Licona are Alberto Lemus as the defensive coordinator, Christopher González as the offensive coordinator, Alberto Ojeda coaching the offensive line, Ricardo Zamora and Raúl Romero coaching linebackers, Alejandro Mendoza coaching running backs, and Francisco Carrasco as the physical trainer.
