“This race aims to be a fun-filled experience steeped in companionship. It’s open to everyone, whether they wish to run with their partner, family, or friends, or even solo. We’ve crafted an exciting and challenging route that spans some of the main streets in the city,” Rodríguez commented.
The starting and finishing point for the race is Galerías Hipódromo, beginning at 7:30 a.m., and the course will pass through Boulevard Díaz Ordaz, Avenida Las Palmas, Calle Champagnat, Boulevard Lomas Campestre, Avenida Hipódromo, Avenida Tapachula, and Boulevard Agua Caliente.
The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and all participants will be awarded a medal for crossing the finish line. The race will also include raffles, photo booths, music, pre-race warm-ups, wardrobe services, restrooms, parking facilities, and three water stations along the route.
The race features a category for couples in three formats: mixed (man and woman), female (two women), and male (two men). There is also an individual category open for both men and women.
Registration costs 300 pesos per runner and includes medical insurance coverage during the event. Interested participants can register at “Regalos y Novedades Karmina” during office hours or at “Yo También Corro en Tijuana” booths at various local running events.
