### New Youth Clubs to Open Across All Municipalities of Baja California
The Club de Niños y Niñas organization is set to expand its reach by opening new centers in the southern parts of Baja California. Planned locations include the municipalities of San Quintín and Ensenada, as well as Mexicali. Enrique Gamboa Núñez, the founder of the first Club de Niños y Niñas in Mexico and Latin America, has announced further plans to establish a center in the southwest region of Tijuana.
Gamboa Núñez revealed that discussions are currently underway with newly elected mayors to secure additional land donations needed for more centers, with support from the state government. He also mentioned plans to open another center in the Valle de Guadalupe in collaboration with Ensenada’s new mayor.
The organization has already received land donations in Mexicali, San Quintín, and San Felipe. Currently, Baja California is home to three centers, with two in Tijuana and one in Playas de Rosarito, collectively serving around 900 children.
These centers operate after school hours and provide development programs for children and youths aged six to sixteen from high-risk communities. Gamboa Núñez emphasized that the goal of the organization is to offer academic and sports activities to children who are often left alone after school due to their parents working.
The first Club de Niños y Niñas in Mexico was inaugurated in Tijuana in 2008 and now operates in 14 states across the country.

Baja California is preparing to enhance its community development programs with the opening of the new Club de Niños y Niñas centers. The initiative demonstrates a commitment to offering safe and enriching environments for children and adolescents.
### Increased Focus on Child Safety and Education
In a related development, the Club de Niños y Niñas will incorporate self-care and protection topics in their summer camps. This expanded curriculum is designed to better equip young attendees with the knowledge and skills they need for personal safety.
### Support from Government and Community for Educational Initiatives
Starting July 2023, new discussions began between the state government and local officials, seeking to provide more resources and support for the construction of these facilities. Additionally, community donations and land grants continue to play a vital role in these expansions.
### Third-Party Endorsement of the Project
Local officials, civic groups, and community leaders have praised the initiative, stating that these new centers will provide critical support to working families and at-risk youth.
