The welfare pension offers bi-monthly payments of 3,000 pesos and will be distributed via the Banco de Bienestar card beginning in December. Initially, the program will cater to women aged 63 and 64, with those aged 60 to 63 expected to start receiving benefits from the year 2025, once the necessary budget is secured.
The registration period, which started on Monday and runs until November 30, requires applicants to visit offices of the Ministry of Welfare located in Zona Río and the Plaza Rió parking lot. Registration is organized based on the first letter of applicants’ last names, and a specific schedule is in place to streamline the process. Participants must provide a valid ID, birth certificate, CURP, proof of residence, and a contact phone number.
