**Baja California to Host Five Sports Disciplines at Macro Regional Meet**

In a recent planning meeting held in Chihuahua for the Macro Regional and Regional A stages of the National Conade 2025 games, it was decided that Baja California will host five key sports disciplines: Basketball, 3×3 Basketball, Boxing, Handball, and Table Tennis. Among those present at the meeting were representatives from regions including Chihuahua, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Zacatecas, and San Luis Potosí.

The meeting was led by Raúl Gilberto Aguilar Coronado, the director of National and Selective Sports Events of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport (Conade), with Teporaca Romero, head of the Chihuahuan Institute of Sport and Physical Culture, playing host.

“This meeting was very fruitful. It’s always a pleasure to meet with peers from the Macro Region. The northern region is very competitive in sports, but at the core, we are allies and friends. We have managed to organize ourselves efficiently in a democratic and equitable manner,” shared Romero.

The calendar for the various sports disciplines was established as follows: Baja California will host events for Basketball, 3×3 Basketball, Boxing, Handball, and Table Tennis; Chess and Taekwondo (Region 1) will be in Chihuahua; Beach Volleyball in Baja California Sur; Indoor Volleyball in Sonora; Soccer in San Luis Potosí; and several others in Nuevo León, Coahuila, and Tamaulipas.

The next meeting to finalize competition dates is set for February 20 in La Paz, Baja California Sur.
