### Adal Ramones Guarantees Fun with “Otra Vez Papá”

Adal Ramones, a beloved television host and comedian, known for shows like “Otro Rollo”, “Bailando por un Sueño”, “Cantando por un Sueño”, “La Academia”, “Mi Famoso y Yo”, and more recently “Jalas o Te Rajas” on Amazon Prime, is returning to Baja California with the adapted Argentine play “Otra Vez Papá”. The performances are scheduled for September 30 in Tijuana and October 1 in Mexicali.

Ramones, who frequently blends his television career with theatre, asserts that his passion lies on stage. “Performing live, whether in monologues or alongside other actors in plays, is essential for grounding as an actor. It’s the true school for series and films since there’s no room for ‘cut’; the story flows continuously from beginning to end,” he said.

In an interview, Ramones elaborated on the plot of “Otra Vez Papá”, stating, “It’s a delightful comedy about a man named Arturo López, who already has grown children and finds out he is going to be a father again. Unlike Arturo, I always planned for more children, but he is caught off guard. The character, however, chooses to embrace this new chapter because he loves his younger partner, played by Giovanna Romo, despite the 24-year age gap.”

He encouraged audiences to attend, promising, “100 minutes of laughter from start to finish. We’ll be at Cecut in Tijuana today at 8 PM and in Mexicali at the Teatro del Estado tomorrow.”

Ramones also shared that dramaturg Daniel Dátola allowed him to adapt the play for a Mexican audience. He says the story found him at the right time, years after first reading it. Now a father of young sons, Cristóbal and Cayetano, Ramones adds personal authenticity to his performance.

Beyond his theatrical ventures, Ramones cherishes Baja California’s unique blend of cultural richness and culinary excellence. He looks forward to indulging in everything from street tacos to fine dining.

Ramones continues to thrive both on screen and stage, with projects like the second season of “Jalas o Te Rajas”, a competition show with charitable outcomes, and upcoming theater performances including “Un Cuento de Navidad” and “Los Maskabrothers” with notable actors like Adrián Uribe and Omar Chaparro.

He also expressed pride in his daughter, Paola, who is pursuing a career in film direction. She recently collaborated with him on “Jalas o Te Rajas” and is gearing up for a significant thesis project combining comedy and drama.
