If you’re looking for the perfect blend of world-class wines and fresh seafood by the sea, look no further. The 25th edition of the Festival de las Conchas y el Vino Nuevo is set for April 10–13 in Ensenada, promising to be bigger and more indulgent than ever.

For a quarter of a century, this celebration has been the pinnacle of Baja California’s wine, seafood, and culinary scenes. Hosted by Provino Baja California, the event gathers elite winemakers, renowned chefs, and prominent seafood producers to spotlight the region’s best shellfish and fresh wines. It’s not your standard “sip and snack” event—it’s four days of extraordinary culinary experiences.

Kicking off on April 10-11 with the XVI Taller de Conchas, attendees will dive into the world of seafood, learning from marine biologists and chefs about oyster farming and the sustainability of mollusks. Whether or not you grasp every detail, you’ll gain a new appreciation for your seafood delights.

On April 11, the IX Salón del Vino invites you to a business-to-business gathering with over 70 wineries presenting their latest creations, offering a unique opportunity for winemakers and distributors to make their mark.

April 12 brings the exclusive Mesas Marinas, a lavish seafood and wine experience with 15 oceanfront tables seating 20 guests each. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal curated by chefs from Peru, the U.S., Mexico City, and beyond, alongside the finest wines. It’s a dining experience you won’t soon forget.

The grand finale is on April 13 at the Hotel Coral & Marina, featuring 80 wineries and over 50 restaurants. Here, thousands of seafood lovers will revel in an all-you-can-taste feast of oysters, mussels, clams, and more, complemented by 160 labels of wine, including renowned whites, sparkling wines, and rosés.

The festival will also host an oyster-shucking contest, a “marina island” with seafood-fusion dishes, and a cooking demo area for those who love a culinary challenge.

Make sure you don’t miss this unparalleled celebration of Baja’s culinary richness. With 3.5 tons of shellfish, 4,182 bottles of wine, and 25,000 tastings, this is one event worth every moment.
